Specialized training that puts people first

Launched in 2009 by the Fédération des coopératives funéraires du Québec, the Symphonie training program is offered to family counsellors, funeral home managers, and funeral directors. It helps them adopt an approach centred on meaningful ceremonies and their vital role in supporting the grieving process.

The Symphonie approach goes beyond simply personalizing a ceremony. It prepares staff to actively involve grieving individuals in the funeral process, to help them find meaning in the experience, and to provide a safe and supportive space where emotions can be expressed.
