Peacefully after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family, at the C.H.U.S. Fleurimont on Friday, a[pril 27, 2007, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Ruby. Son of the late Ivan Wood and Mabel Smith. He was predeceased by his oldest son Charles. Cherished father of : Linda (Victor), Larry, Earl (Dora), Carlene (Allan), Raymond (Kim), Elaine (Guy), Brian, Susie, Stanley, Tammy (Lionel), Rose (Rob). Wayne will also be sadly missed by numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as his sisters Madeleine and Edith, brothers Arnold and Ronald, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Honoring the wishes of the deceased, there will be no visitation and service. As memorial tributes, donations may be made to the Quebec Diabetic Ass, 5635 Sherbrooke Est., Montreal, Qc. H1N 1A2 or the Canadian Cancer society, 3330 King West, Bureau 130, Sherbrooke, Qc. J1L 1C9 and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
