I am deeply saddened to read of Sylvie's passing. I fondly recall meeting her on my visit with you so many years ago now. I found Sylvie to be such a sweet and engaging young lady at the time, chatting together as she showed me about the yard and how thrilled she was legitimately beating me throwing baskets as she flashed that wide as all outdoors smile of hers. I have often wondered and am somewhat cheered to read how positive and determined she remained in living her far too short a life to its fullest. She will be deeply missed. As Irving Berlin once said, "The song is ended, but its melody lingers on." Let Sylvie's melody provide a measure of comfort to you in your sorrow as you let it play on forever in your hearts.
