It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mrs Simonne Tremblay-Carrière on Sunday, 26th March 2023 at the age of 89.
Simonne joins her husband Claude Carrière, her mother Roseanna Cormier, her father Lucien Tremblay, and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children: Lynn (Barry McConnell), Louise (Tom Casey), Denise (Dave Guévremont) and Michelle (Shawn Berndt); her grandchildren: Claudia Laurin, Kyle, Nathan, and Rachel McConnell, Émilie Guévremont, James Casey; her sister Diane Tremblay (André Plourde); her sisters-in-law Georgette Carrière, Monique Pelletier; her brother-in-law Raynald Simard; as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.
Special thanks to a kind soul who became her best friend/confidante, Bernice Paquette, and her spouse Paul Smith, for being there and taking care of her.
A celebration of prayers will be held on Saturday, 8th April 2023 at 2 pm at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE LOUTAOUAIS located at 1369, boul. La Vérendrye O. in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences at 1 pm.
