LANCASTER, Shirley

(1944-2014) Passed away peacefully at the Hôtel-Dieu, on December 3rd, 2014 at the age of 70 with her cherished angels by her side. Daughter of the late Aleck and Myrtle Lancaster. Dear mother of Dean (Sue) and Sam. Shirley leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters, the late Angus (Doreen), Jenica (formerly Ann), Caroline (Herbert), Earl (Cheryl), Mary (David), Ron (Jen), Pamela (Tommy) and the late Tony (Donna). She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and her 2 godchildren Connie and Jessica. Visitation will take place at the St. Paul's Anglican Church, 588 Main St. Bury, on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 12 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Interment in the Lakeside Cemetery Bishopton at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the Hotel-Dieu Palliative Care Unit of the 6th floor for the wonderful care given to Mrs Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations to Les Auxiliaires Bénévoles du CHUS, 580, rue Bowen Sud, Sherbrooke, QC J1G 2E8 would be greatly appreciated by the family. .
