REID BLANCHETTE, Ruth

(1930-2016)

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2016 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of 58 years to Dale Blanchette.

Ruth was predeceased by her parents Brisen Reid and Eva Paige, older brother Roy, and her twin brother Harry. Left to mourn this remarkable woman are her nieces , nephews, family and friends.

Visitation at Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale Sud, Richmond, on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 9 am to 11 am. The funeral service will follow at 11 am, with Tami Spires officiating. Interment will take place in the spring.

Special thanks to the staff at the CHUS-Fleurimont for the excellent care provided to Mrs. Blanchette.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Rebekah’s (Richmond Division) would be greatly appreciated.
