WHITING, Ruby

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS-Hôtel Dieu Hospital Sherbrooke, QC on March 17, 2009 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her parents: James Charles Whiting and Agnes Edna Brownlow and all her brothers and sisters: Leslie (Beatrice Mitchell), Douglas, Pearl (Harold Rawlings), and Betty (Gordon Smith). Ruby was a special aunt to Judy Harrison (Syd), Barry Rawlings (Pauline), Val Rawlings and also survived by several other cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) QC J1M 1Z5, 819-564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca where friends and family may visit on Friday March 20, 2009 from 1 to 3 pm followed by the funeral service at 3 pm in the funeral home. Rev Martyn Sadler officiating. Interment in the Elmwood Cemetery Sherbrooke beside her parents. Ruby was an ex-Ingersoll-Rand employee with 41 years of service and dedicated worker with the UCW, Plymouth Trinity United Church.
