Ross' family
My sympathies to Ross' family, close friends and long time girlfriend Brigitte. Ross and I worked together in the "box" at CBSA from 2010 to 2018. He had a big heart and was always ready to listen and give you his take on things. He often spoke of his daughters and his lastest bike trip (and his next trip)! I last saw him just before Covid hit and he was in great spirit then so his sudde passing was a shock. Rest in peace buddy!

Family of Ross
My deepest sympathies to the soulmate, family and friends of Ross. I was so saddened to receive this news. Ross was my boss at Leitrim for a couple of years, and to say he made life interesting and fun would be an understatement. He was also my neighbour, and a great friend. His sense of humour was second to none, and if he didn't have me in stitches several times a day, he was having a bad day. My father was elderly and sick living with me, and Ross always gave me the time I needed to look after him. I lost track after I retired and moved to Turkey, and wish I could have had the opportunity to keep in more contact. He truly was a great man, something there is not enough of in this world. I am so sorry for your loss, RIP Ross.

Brigitte, Nancy, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Rachel, Family Members & Friends,
The members of the Canadian Forces Supplementary Radio (SUPRAD) System Oldtimers Association were saddened by the news of Ross' passing. Those who proudly served with Ross, in Inuvik, Gander and (more than a few times) Alert will forever remember the many laughs we shared as a result of his quick wit and sense of humour. Please know that as members of your extended military family, we will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Family and friends
I am so sorry to hear that Ross passed away. I worked with Ross on and off over the years at the CBSA, and the photo in his obituary takes me right back to those times. I can hear his laugh looking at that photo. Ross always spoke fondly of his daughters and his love of long distance motorcycle roadtrips. My sincere condolences to his daughters and girlfriend Brigitte. Sending you all love.

Ross’ family and loved ones
I had the pleasure of working with Ross over 10 years ago during my time in the box. I really appreciated his presence as he provided an atmosphere of levity to an area that could quickly become tense.
I enjoyed chatting with him, whether it be telling each other former military stories, or just popping in to share some info.
CBSA intell was a better place with him in it. My deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones.
