BELDEN, Ronald

June 28, 1941 - September 15, 2010 Ron met his death with courage, composure and strength at the CHUS Fleurimont, Sherbrooke. He was the son of the late Leta and Cassius Belden, and brother of the late Cash; loving husband and soul-mate of Ann Olney Belden; dear father of Kari Sparkes and Andy Sparkes (Shannon); much-loved Bix/Grampa of Nicholas, Alexandra, Jake, J.T., Matthew, Josey and Stephen; dear brother-in-law of Sandra Olney (Andrejs Skaburskis). Friends will be received at the Lennoxville United Church on Friday, September 17 from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM. Rev. James Potter will conduct a service at the Lennoxville United Church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, followed by the interment at the Danville Protestant Cemetery. You may honour Ron’s memory through a contribution to the Haematology Department at the Fondation du CHUS, 580 Rue Bowen Sud, Sherbrooke, QC, J1G 2E8. (www.fondationchus.org)
