Blair, Roland

BLAIR, Roland

1932 - 2023

Passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on April 18, 2023 at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu, at the age of 90.

Beloved husband of Lucille Blair for almost 65 years.

Proud father of Robin (Charlene) and Douglas (Nancy) and loving grandfather to Megan, Michelle and Leighton.

Brother to the late Rena (late Herbert), late Russel (late Ardath), Victor (Barbara), Barbara (late Fred) and late Robert (Vicky).  In addition, he leaves to mourn many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Rody enjoyed spending time at the family farm or at the camp with his brothers, good friend Danny Langlois and cousin Alfred McVetty.  When he wasn’t working outdoors, he was playing golf with his wife and friends.  Always sporting a smile, our favorite memories include: summer vacations, family suppers and watching the grand children at their sporting events.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu (4th floor and palliative care) for the care and compassion shown during his last days.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
