I never had the pleasure of meeting your father but both our father's were Colonel's in the military and had wonderful and crazy ideas to make this world a better place for his kids and all generations to come. They don't make men like this anymore and I'm so sorry for your huge loss. His legacy will live on.

Leslie, the loss of your Bob comes as a huge shock to me. The support you both gave to me and my wife, Dee, as she traveled through her unfortunate prognosis will never be forgotten and continues to be so much appreciated. The influence Bob had on all of us in the military during our respective careers was absolutely profound and we are so much healthier because of his dedication and effective communication skills. Please accept my sincere condolences at this very sad time.

Bob was a caring Queen’s Golden Gael alumnus. He was giving with his time. I enjoyed working closely with Bob as Captain of his 1968 Golden Gaels Football team. It was important for him to continue his legacy as captain and lead his team alongside his friend Ron Brooks to support today’s Gaels Football team. I will miss Bob his humour and wit. Condolences to the whole family.

Dear Leslie and Family, our words of sympathy already expressed in our condolence card, we wish to reiterate and re-enforce by saying that our thoughts are with you in all sincerety. Bob will never be forgotten. He was a fine man, good friend and "Chef."
May time ease the mental pain and grief , but never the memory of him.

Cal, I was privileged to know Bob and Leslie, as well as all your siblings through my association with you. I was impressed by their compassion and they had enough love to adopt Erin, Gavin and Jock in addition to their biological children, you and Adam. He'll be missed by everyone he came in contact with.

Hi there, several years back Bob reached out to me on an Ancestry forum. Recently I reconnected with Ancestry and RedRiverAncestry.ca and found several images there that Bob had shared from the Mayo family. My mother Helen is the last surviving child of Sybil Mayo and Henry Tetroe. I was saddened to see that I missed the opportunity to reconnect. Thinking of you all,
