It is with sadness that the Rochon family announces the death of

Mrs. Rita Rochon (nee Tétreault)

on February 9, 2017 at the Résidence Vigi in Gatineau, Quebec, at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Napoleon and the late Marie-Rose Tetreault. She is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years,Raoul Rochon, her children Monique, Nicole (Claude), Daniel (Louise), Gisele (Guy), Raymond (Shelley), Marthe (Bill), André (Joanne), Mireille (Sylvain), Luc (Mélanie) and Lucie (Randy). The adored grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Memere was known for her kindness and gentleness.

She also leaves two brothers, six sisters, and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

There will be no visitations at the funeral home. A private celebration took place on February 15th 2017.

If desired a memorial donation can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada for Rita’s beloved grand-daughter.
