LARIN BURNELL, Rita

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Rita Larin Burnell on October 16th, 2018 at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of deceased husband Carson Larin and daughter of the late William H. Burnell and of the late Rose Boucher. She leaves behind her loving children : Darleen (Bruce), Sheila (Maurice), Nancy (Attilo), Douglas, Patricia (Claude), Gordon (Laurie), Ronald (Manon), Larry (Lucie) and Marc; her cherished 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren who adore their mémère. She also leaves her sisters : Viola (Harvey) and Doris and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Farewell to her friends at the Club d'âge d'or de Templeton.

There will be no visitation at the funeral parlor. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS at 1369, La Vérendrye O. Bvld. in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences at 9:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, please donate either to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Pulmonary Association of Canada.

The family wishes to thank the personnel of 6 North at the CSSS Pavillon de Gatineau for the exceptional warmth and care received.

Chère Pat, je sais que perdre sa maman est très éprouvant et triste mais je sais que Rita est maintenant en paix . Les souvenirs que j'ai de cette femme sont des plus doux. A ma mémoire, elle avait toujours un large sourire qui dégageait une bonté
et une douceur incomparable. Elle laissera un énorme vide dans toutes vos vies par contre les souvenirs que vous aurez seront précieux a tout jamais.
