Peacefully at the Connaught Home, North Hatley, QC on Wednesday, July 4th 2007 at the age of 86. Reginald Walter Hughes beloved husband of Edith Ardell Ashman and dear father of Gordon (Nolene), Wendy ( Stephane) and Sharon. Cherished grandfather of Nathalie (Matt), predeceased by his brother Burton (late Grace) and by his brother-in-law Melvin (Merna) and is survived by his brother-in-law Larry (Patty) and by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke, QC (Lennoxville); Tel: (819) 564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca, where friends may visit on Sunday, July 8th 2007 from 7 to 9pm and on Monday, July 9th from 1 to 2pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00PM with Pastor Jamie Cahill officiating. Interment in the Malvern Cemetery, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville). As memorial tributes, donations to the Connaught Home, 77 Main St. , P.O. Box 629,North Hatley, QC J0B-2C0 or to the Frontier Animal Society, 1 Bigelow, Stanstead, QC, J0B 3E5, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
