We regret to announce the death of

Pierrette Brunet (née Langlois)

Who passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 15th, 2021 at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her parents: William Langlois and Laurette Pagé, her brother Jacques and her sister Jeannine (late Roger Bédard).

She is survived by her loving children: Danielle Brunet (Michel Paquin) and Linda Brunet (Kevin Roberts); her cherished grandchildren: Catherine Paquin (Moritz Schmidt), Geneviève Paquin (John Barratt) and Zachary Roberts; her great-granddaughter: Ella Schmidt. She also leaves her sister Claudette (late Gaston Bédard) and many nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Pierrette worked most of her career at DND and retired in 1991. She most enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

The family wishes to thank everyone who offered care, support and comfort to our Mother.

Rest in peace, Mom. Your beautiful smile and the sound of your laughter will be in our memories forever.

A ceremony will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Thursday the 12th of August 2021 at 2:00pm. The family will receive condolences from 1:00pm.

Linda, Kevin & Zac

To my best friend Linda, her husband Kevin and their son Zac, I wish to extend my deepest condolences on the loss of your Mom/Grandma. Pierrette was a lovely lady whom I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with on several occasions. Her strong sense of family and her independent spirit were two of the traits I admired most. With all of her accomplishments, as well as the legacy of her wonderful family, hers was certainly a life well-lived.
