McCrimmon, Percy

1937-2023

Surrounded by close family, Percy (Perk) passed away peacefully on 26 July 2023 at the age of 86. Predeceased by the love of his life, his wife of 55 years, Anne. Loving Dad to Susan (Barry) and Bill (Heather). Cherished Poppa to 6 grandchildren, Jasmine (Dan), Brendan (Megan), Sarah (Sam), Kaitlyn (Skyler), Ben and Jonah. And proud great grandpa to Elsie.

Percy was raised in Toronto, ON, and moved to Ottawa in 1973 with his job. He continued his successful career as a service manager with Pitney Bowes for a total of 33 years with an amazing team. Percy then enjoyed his 27 years of retirement.

Percy will be remembered by many friends, colleagues and family.

In keeping with Percy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

For anyone wanting to make a donation in Percy’s memory, Percy has asked that it be to a charity of your choice.

The Family

My wife and I offer our deepest condolences. Percy was an exceptional boss and always took time to listen if we were having a rough time. When I joined Pitney Bowes I was only a year sober. Percy said I will hire you as long as you stay sober. To this day I am 48 years sober. He will be greatly missed. Thanks again Percy for your judgment in me. Rest in peace.

Thinking of you all at this sad time.
Hope the memories of your happy times together will provide some comfort.
I visited Church of St Mary Moorfields in the city and lite a candle.

Oh my goodness "kids". So sorry that your Dad is gone but truly understand that he was suffering a lot over the past few years.
Such a sweet man...always glad to see me and get a hug.
As you, I will really miss him.
