MARTIN, Patrick

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patrick Martin in Gatineau, Quebec on April 6, 2025, surrounded by his family. His presence will be deeply missed.  Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is predeceased by his parents Andrew Martin and Hectorine Perrault; his siblings Myrtha (Marcel Bouchard), Donald (Jeannette Aubin), Serita, Patricia, Peter (Veronique Hamel), Lillian (Lise Therrien), John, and his grandson Robert Sallery 

He is survived by his sisters and brother Thelma, Leona (late Gilles Beaulieu) and Alex (Aline Germain).

He leaves behind his children Ronald (Sylvie Gauthier), John (Andréa Mendonça), Donna (the late Andrew Nawagesic and the late Tom Carew), David (Jennifer Fraser), Bernadette (André Bouchard) and Patricia (Shannon Sallery).

He also leaves his grandchildren Candace Martin (Adam James Clarke), Kyle O'Brien (Alyssa Boc), Kayla O'Brien (Alexander Eliuk), Katherine O'Brien (Robert Wildman) Virgina Silva (Pascal Saumure), Jason Martin (Cassandre Nadeau), Samantha Carew (Dominic Turrner), Sabrina Carew, Kimberly Martin (Justin Metz), James Martin (Zosia Davis), Katelynn Martin (Nicolas Choquette), Joseph Martin, Zacharie Gauthier (Marie-Pier Laurin), Alanna Gauthier, Elizabeth Sallery (Steve Blanchard), Victoria Sallery and Rebecca Sallery (Aiden Ghoddosei).

He leaves as well his great-grandchildren Torrin Hamill-Clarke, James Clarke, Austin Clarke, Declan O’Brien, Tristan O’Brien, Abigail Eliuk, Hunter Eliuk, Marigold Wildman, Nathan Saumure, Nelly Saumure, Aubrey Turner, Jack Turner, Rosalie Metz, Angus Metz, Castiel Gauthier, Titus Middleton-St. Pierre and Lucah Ghoddosei.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 2 pm at la Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard in Gatineau.
