Lillian passed away peacefully at the Grace Christian Home, Huntingville, Quebec on Monday, March 25, 2013, at the age of 95. Lillian grew up in the Bury area and spent the first years of married life with her husband, the late Earl Thompson, in Sawyerville, Que., later moving to Orleans, VT and Gorham, NH, and when her health dictated more care was needed, she returned to the Eastern Townships in May 2010 living at the Grace Christian Home where she received tender care. Lillian leaves to mourn her children, Janet Michaud (Leon), Morris (Roxy), both of NH, Brent (Della) VT, and Kathryn LeBlanc (Larry) of PA., her grandchildren, David, Matthew, Cappi, Ashley, step-grandson Andrew, Kathleen, Zakary, Caitlin, great-grandchildren, Hunter, Kali, and Reese-Lillian. She is survived by 2 of her 8 siblings, Fay Rand and Audrey Dougherty, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Lillian was an avid golfer, loved to play bridge, enjoyed doing hand crafts and was a good homemaker. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 2 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to service at the Cass Funeral Home, 15 Station Street, Sawyerville, Quebec. At Lillian's request, cremation has taken place. Interment in Eaton Cemetery.
