MARTIN BARLEBEN, Monique

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Monique Barleben in her 91st year.

She is survived and dearly missed by her husband Peter Barleben, her sons Stefan (Lucie Tanguay) and Mark (Susan Cunningham), her grandchildren Alexandre (Shawna Miles), Justin (Emily DuBroy) and Danika (Nicholas Thériault), her great-grandson Felix as well as many sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Henri Paul Martin and Marthe Legros and her brothers Jean-Paul (late Jeanne Trudeau) and Denis (Francine Vincent) and her loving aunt Irène Legros Paquin who was a mother to her.

A reception in her honour will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau.

C'est avec regrets que j'ai pris connaissance du décès de madame Barleben dont je garde un excellent souvenir.

Mes plus sincères condoléances à vous et à vos proches.

J'espère que vous trouverez tout le réconfort dont vous aurez besoin pour traverser cette pénible épreuve.

Je me permets de partager avec vous un court poème de David Harkins que j'ai découvert lors du décès de ma tante Thérèse, en espérant qu'il vous fera un peu de bien.
