Condolences on your loss...my husband and I were good friends with your dad, Don, and your mom, Phyllis. We know you through our conversations and visiting with them. Your dad was a great friend and colleague of mine for many years at Woodroffe United.
I didn't realize you were back in Ottawa. I am sure you have good friends here that will help you as you go through this difficult time.
I hope to speak to you at the funeral...
Sincerely, Sue Smarkala

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are loved. We will miss Monique. She had a mischievous laugh but it had no malice in it. She wore a smile that disarmed the most guarded. She was small in stature but strong, giant in spirit but gentle. Monique and you are an inspiration to us all and an example of how we as followers of Christ should be filled with joy...all the time.
