Marcel Blagdon

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcel Blagdon on February 1st, 2018, at the age of 87.

Beloved husband of Louisette Thivierge and son of late Antonio Blagdon and late Irène Côté. He leaves behind his children: Joanne (Gilles Paquette), Pierre (Suzanne Tremblay) and Jacques (Wendy James); his grandchildren: Jeffrey, Sean and Michelle. He also leaves  many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters:  Pierrette (late Léon Richard), Antoinette (late Paul Côté), André, Lucie (late Bob Fontaine), Thérèse (John McEniry), Georges (late Huguette and Margot (late René Bergeron and Jacques Charland)

The celebration of his life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 1369, La Vérendrye O. Bvld, in Gatineau, on Monday the 12th of February 2018 at 10:00 am . The family will receive condolences at 9:30am .

For those who wish to do so, donations to Société Alzheimer Outaouais Québécois and Fondation canadienne du rein would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank Dre Bouchard, Dre Tessier, Dre Pérodin and the saff of 5e Nord of the Hopital de Gatineau for their support and good care.

Nous regrettons de ne pouvoir assister à l'hommage que vous allez porter à Marcel le 12 février prochain. Notre âge très avancé et les conditions hivernales limitent nos déplacements.
Nous serons présents avec vous en chaleureuses pensées lors de cet important événement.
Au moment de la mise en terre des cendres, nous serons sur les lieux pour commémorer le départ de Marcel vers d'autres cieux gracieux ouverts à un homme toujours généreux de ce qu'il était et de ce qu'il est encore.

Louisette, ses enfants et la famille

Je vous exprime toute ma sympathie en ces jours de deuil trop vite arrivés. Merci pour les beaux souvenirs qui ne me quitteront jamais. Je ferai tout mon possible pour assister à la célébration de la vie de Marcel mais si je ne peux m'absenter du travail, je serai en pensée avec vous tous.
