BERTRAND (NÉE GENDRON), Madeleine

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Madeleine Bertrand (nee Gendron) on November 20, 2022 at the age of 88.

She was the wife of the late Gérard Bertrand and the daughter of the late Alfred Gendron and Léonne Théoret. She is survived by her daughter Sylvia (Robert); her brother Léo as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her sister Denise as well as her brothers René and André.

A celebration of her life will be held in her honour on April 29 at 2 p.m. at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais - Pavillon Lac-des-Fées, 95, blvd. de la Cité-des-Jeunes (Hull sector). The family will receive condolences beginning at 1 p.m. A live webcast and replay will be available via the following link: https://commemora.tv/fr/diffusions/72169

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

The family wishes to sincerely thank the personnel of the Wakefield Memorial hospital as well as Dr. Terrence Clarke for their excellent care, kindness and compassion.
