Betty Ross nee M. Elizabeth McCullough, R.N

1926-2022

Daughter of the late Mabel Pozer and the late William McCullough, loving wife of Gordon Ross, passed away on November 12, 2022.

She leaves to mourn, her son Peter (Danièle Bergeron), Greenfield Park, her daughter Catherine (David St.Onge), Saint-Lazare and son Paul (Lori Hemrick), Coldstream B.C., the grandchildren who kept her young at heart Heidi and Melissa St.Onge and Hanna, Carl and Lucas Ross.

Betty spent her life caring for family and friends, young and old, including all the children at Sherbrooke Elementary School where she was the noon-hour and recess supervisor. These random acts of kindness brought her true happiness.

At her request there will be no funeral service, and a private interment of her ashes will be held at the Elmwood Cemetery (Sherbrooke) at a later date.

In remembrance of Betty’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
