BISHOP, Lloyd

1925 – 2015 passed away peacefully on December 18^th 2015 at the age of 90 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was the son of the late Carl and Ethel (McHarg) of Bishopton, Quebec. Lloyd spent most of his years in the Stanstead area and was involved in many organizations including the Legion, Masons, Stanstead South United Church and the Crystal Lake Cemetery. 

Lloyd leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 64 years Rheta (Jones); his daughters Heather Gillam (David) of Alliston, Ontario, and Tammy Dupuis of Derby, VT; his grandchildren Jared Harrison (Amy), Lindsay Chizen (Justin), Chad Dupuis; his great-grandson Degan as well as his brother Lorne (Pauline). Lloyd was predeceased by his loving daughter, Marlene Harrison; his sisters Elaine Hosking, Shirley Willard and his brother Douglas Bishop. Many nieces, nephews and cherished friends also share in our loss. Lloyd`s wishes were to have no funeral service at this time, but to have a graveside service at a later date with his daughter, Marlene. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crystal Lake Cemetery c/o Brian Curtis at 2250 Curtis Rd, Stanstead Quebec, JOB 3E0. Holiday wishes and thanks to all of our family and friends at this sad time.
