HEALY, Kenneth

Avid model railroader and railway historian. 1st president of C. Robert Craig Memorial Library and Past Chairman of The Ottawa Valley Associated Railroader (OVAR) and Railfair. H.L. McEwen Award Winner 1995. Peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Harriet for 51 years. Dear brother of Mabel Thorne (the late George), Kathleen Baker (the late Michael), Helen Healy, Donald (Esther), Dorothy Evans (Ronald), Margaret Webb (the late Charles Webb and the late Herb Steele), and Robert (Nancy). Ken will be fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 28, 2006 at 1:30pm. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
