1943 - 2023

Peacefully in her 79 th  year, we announce the passing of Judy on
September 11, 2023 at Extendicare in Kirkland Lake.  Judy is survived by her sons Steve (Doreen) Vucko, Alan Bigelow, grandchildren Stephanie (Pat) Meagher, Shawn (Rachel) Vucko, and great grandchildren Quinn, Reed, Reese, and Griffin. Brother Dwight (Vicky) Harrington, and sisters Ada (Earl) Burant, Shirley Emery,
Lucy (Harvey) Lesperance as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews from near and far. She is predeceased by her son Carmen Vucko, mother Ada, father Patrick “Paddy”, and siblings Mary Josephine Harrington, Francis Harrington, Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Dolotowicz, Patricia “Pat” Burns and Patrick “Bud” Harrington, William “Bill” Harrington, Jimmy (Barbara) Harrington.

Judy had a passion for country music. She enjoyed her bus trips to the casino. And she loved to show off her extensive jewelry collection to anyone that shared a love for jewelry. Judy cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren immensely and was always happy for visits with them.

Judy’s family would like to extend their most sincere thanks to the staff at Extendicare for their unwavering care and compassion.

A Funeral Service will be held at Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative (Formerly French Family Funeral Home) at 111 Burnside Dr in Kirkland Lake on Tuesday September 19, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. followed by a burial at Kirkland Lake Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Judy can be made to Extendicare, Kirkland Lake.

Thinking of you all at this very sad and difficult time. Judy and her Family grew up together on the backlane of Kirkland Street many moons ago. We never forgot one another, always had a chat when we met So sorry for your loss.
