SALTER, John

Passed away peacefully at his home in Bury, Qc. On Saturday, August 4, 2007, at the age of 62 years. Beloved husband of Michelle Brodeur and son of the late Edward Bolton Salter and the late Vera Browning. Dear father of: Karen (Tim Snell), Linda (Jeff Kane), and Steven (Josianne Grenier); cherished grandfather of : Morgan and Owen Kane, Madyson, Nathan, and Loganne Salter, John will also be sadly missed by Vanessa and Maxwell Snell ; he leaves to mourn his brother Beven (Marilyn Findlay), sister Edna (Guy Meigs), brother-in-law Jean-Pierre Brodeur (Micheline Thivierge), Claire Furse (the late Paul Brodeur) and Elaine Green, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College, (Lennoxville), Sherbrooke, Qc. 819-564-1750 www.casshomes.ca on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Pat’s Church on Gordon St. , Sherbrooke Wednesday, August 8 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Pierre Doyon officiating, followed by interment in the St. Michel cemetery . The family wishes to thank the staff at the C.H.U.S. Fleurimont and the site Hotel Dieu for the very good care given to John. As memorial tributes donations may be made to the C.H.U.S. Foundation, 580 Bowen St. S. Sherbrooke, Qc. J1G 2E8 or St. Paul’s Rest Home, 592 Main St., Bury, Qc. JOB 1J0.
