MATHIAS, John

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved brother and uncle. Johnny "Philius" Mathias passed away at the CSSS-IUGS St-Vincent Pavilion in Sherbrooke on Wednesday May 1st in his 86th year. Beloved brother of Sheila (Sanders) of Lindsay, Ontario, and son of the late Janet and Phillip Mathias. "Cadillac John" will be greatly missed by his nieces Donna (Villemaire), Linda (Sanders-Vos), Margo (Emo) and nephews Philip (Sanders) and Brian (Sanders), and his life-long companion, Huguette Riendeau of Sherbrooke. Visitation at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), Friday May 3rd, from 10-11 a.m. Funeral service to follow. Interment at the Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the YM/YWCA would be appreciated by the Family.
