CORNTHWAITE YEATES, Joan

Peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont, Sherbrooke, QC on Thursday, October 11th 2007, at the age of 78. Joan Davis Cornthwaite beloved wife of the late John Robert Yeates and dear mother of Patricia (Robert Marshall), Michael (Mary Paige) and Karen Yeates. Cherished grandmother of Samantha (Mike Robertson), Amanda Marshall (Charles Sevigny); great-grandmother of James Robertson. Joan is survived by her sister Jean Liddell, Burlington,ON. In respect of Joan's wishes, cremation was held. Family and friends may pay their respects at the St-Lawrence Anglican Church, Island Brook, QC on Monday, October 15th 2007 from 1 to 3pm, followed by the funeral service at 3pm, with Rev. Sister Mary Florence Liew officiating. Interment in the Island Brook Cemetery. As memorial tributes, donations to the CHUS Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
