At the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu Hospital, on February 6, 2024, Jean-Paul Lachance passed away peacefully at the age of 95. Loving husband of the late Grace Browne Lachance.
He leaves to mourn his children: Michel (Julie), Pierre (Lorraine), David (Gaetane), Daniel and Richard (Marie-Claire); his grandchildren: Jonathan, Keven, Ian, Cedrick, Vicky, Christopher and Alex: 6 great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters: Thérèse, Adrienne, Jacqueline, Noëlla, Roger et Ghyslaine. He also leaves to mourn his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place at the Notre-Dame-Du-St-Rosaire Church (4, Randboro Road in Sawyerville) on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 17th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
The family wishes to thank the personnel at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu and the Résidences Chateau Bel-Age in Windsor for the excellent care given to Mr Lachance.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Société Alzheimer de L’Estrie, 740, rue Galt Ouest, suite 112, Sherbrooke, QC J1H 1Z3 would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of feelings and memories when i think of uncle Jean-Paul, when we would go visit when i was young, or when he would come to my dad's wood mill. I still have the yellow cap that uncle Jean-Paul gave me when he came one morning to pick me up to spend the day with him in his semi truck. As i got older, i would call and go visit uncle Jean-Paul and aunt Grace, always interested in what i had to say and always make me feel special. My your soul rest in eternal peace, i love you uncle Jean-Paul.
