Passed away at the CIUSSS Estrie Argyll on Friday April 2, 2021 at the age of 94. Husband to the late Monique Cameron, son of the late Joseph-Etienne Labrecque and late Lumina Guillemette.
He leaves to mourn his children: Claude (Luce Forget) and Suzanne; his granddaughter Anne-Marie (François Dionne St-Arneault) and his great grandchildren Alice, Juliette and Édouard.
He also leaves to mourn his sisters Thérèse & Cécile (feu Gérard Déziel) and his sister in-law Doris Pelletier (feu Marcel Labrecque).
He was brother to the late Paul (late Evelyne Poulin), late Annette (late Amédée Beaudoin), late Camille (late Rita Therrien), late Georgette (late Clément de Heusch), late Sr Jeanne d’Arc, late Gérard (Marie-Paule Rivard), late Germaine (feu Jean-Paul Montour), late Françoise (Charles Vaillancourt), late François and late Marc (late Pauline Desrochers).
He will also be missed by Lina Jacques with whom he shared 16 years of his life.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Argyll Pavilion 4th E for their excellent work and care, as well as the Dr Catherine Vanasse for her accompaniment of mister Jean Labrecque and his children.
In his last wishes, M. Jean Labrecque requested his body be donated to science at the University of Sherbrooke.
A visitation will be held on July 17, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Cass Funeral Home (3006 College, Lennoxville), immediately followed by a funeral service.
