BEATTIE, Jean

Passed away at the Wales Home, Richmond, on March 28th, 2007, Miss Jean E. Beattie in her 89th year. Daughter of the late John Gordon Beattie and the late Elizabeth M. Walker Beattie, and sister of Bernice Beattie, Elwin Beattie, and Shirley Lockwood (Ross). Sister-in-law of Francoise Nadeau (late Malcolm Beattie), late Doris ( the late Kenneth Cross), the late Donald (the late Thelma Faulkner), the late Kenneth (Lyla Stimson) and the late twins, Hilton and Merton Beattie. Jean also leaves to mourn her 14 Nephews and nieces, 29 great nephews and nieces and 22 great great nephews and nieces, along with many other cousins and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, 819-826-2502 / www.casshomes.ca ,where friends may visit on Friday March 30th from 7 to 9 PM and on Saturday from 1 to 1:50 PM followed by the funeral in the funeral home at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Valerie Kennedy officiating. Interment in the Elmwood Cemetery, Sherbrooke, will be held at a later date. Donations to the Richmond-Melbourne United Church or the Wales Home Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
