GUNTER, James Clifford

Cliff died peacefully at the Résidence Ferland in Danville, on Saturday February 4th, 2012 at the age of 81, following a lengthy battle against colon cancer. Beloved husband of Dorothy Patrick (Wales Home, Richmond) and loving father of Cindy (André Boudreau) and grampie to Jesse, Raquel and Luke. Cliff was pre-deceased by his son Jay (March 26, 1988), his brothers Garry and Douglas, and his sisters Virginia and Ora. He is survived by his sister Judy (Francis Saffin), his brother-in-law Lenny Knowles, his sisters-in-law Gail Robertson and Iris Semple along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cliff's cremated remains will be interred in St-Anne's Cemetery, Richmond, at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Erica and Antoinette. Without your help, Cliff could never have stayed at his home as long as he did. In his memory, Cliff's wish was to have donations made to the Danville Curling Club, c/o Albert Gillam, 1449 Rte 116, Danville, QC J0A 1A0 No more suffering Dad, but I will sure miss you.
