The Chalifoux family regrets to announce the death of

Mrs. Jacqueline Chalifoux Chorzepa

passed away on September 15, 2018. Age at death: 100 years old and 4 months. She was the wife of the late Stanley Chorzepa and the daughter of the late Sylvio Chalifoux and the late Maria Boisvenu. She is survived by her only daughter Suzanne; her granddaughter Michelle Mitchell (Dan Mitchell); his two great-granddaughters : Anna and Kaite; her brothers : Jean-Marc and Raymond; her sister Marie-Paule, as well as several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sisters : Madeleine, Adrienne, Françoise and her brother Garcia.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS located at 1369, boul. La Vérendrye West in Gatineau. The family will accept condolences from 1:30 p.m.

At her request, her remains were transported to the Faculty of Medicine at the  Ottawa University for medical research purposes.

Je vous offre mes plus sincères condoléances à vous et à toute votre famille. Je suis une élève de votre mère, elle m 'a enseigné en 6ième année à Buckingham. J'ai maintenant 72 ans alors, il y a longtemps de çà comme vous voyez. Elle était une excellente enseignante comme il n'en existe plus je crois bien.

Bonjour madame, je viens d'apprendre que votre mère est décédée récemment. Je tiens à vous exprimer mes sincères sympathies pour la perte de cette personne extraordinaire et chaleureuse qu'était votre mère. Mon mari, Robert Roy, décédé en septembre 2017, a eu la chance de l'avoir comme première directrice lors du début de sa carrière d'enseignant en histoire. Parti de sa Beauce natale à sa sortie de l'Université Laval en 1971 il a été accueilli par Mme Chorzepa comme une mère l'aurait fait.
