KILBY BLAIS, Iris

1924 - 2024

Our family is saddened with announcing the passing of our mother, Iris Carmel Kilby-Blais on Friday January 19th, 2024.  Mom serenely departed, having earned a well-deserved interminable peace after some 99 plus years on earth.  She now joins her loving husband Roy in what can only be an endless love.

Mom was and can only be described as a beautiful soul, sublime and gracious in all her ways.  Her soft-spoken manner and consideration always for others well-being before herself made of her a uniquely exceptional example of what a true human being is.

She leaves her son Steve, daughter-in-law Elise and grandson Mathieu, all with loving and precious memories of the beautiful times spent in her affectionate company.

Her son David, his wife Brenda and their two girls Vanessa and Allison will forever miss her loving maternal ways.

The celebration of life will be held at the Coopérative funéraire de Outaouais at 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Sunday February 25th, 2024 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive condolences as of 1:30 pm. It will also be possible to view the ceremony, live or by replay, by following the link: https://commemora.tv/en/diffusions/85449

Very sad to get the news of your mother's passing however she is now reunited with Royal, the love of her life. I have so many beautiful memories of aunt Iris growing up and my Mom use to love chatting with her sister in law. While Fred and I are out of town and unable to attend the ceremony, we will be thinking of all of you that day. Our deepest sympathies to the entire family.
