ISABELLE GRENIER, Irène

1926 - 2017

Mrs. Irène Isabelle passed away at the CSSS Memphrémagog, on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the age of 90, formally from Stanstead.  Loving wife of the late Jean-Paul Grenier and daughter to the late Georgianna Hébert and the late Josaphat Isabelle.

Mrs. Isabelle leaves to mourn her children:Roger, Gisèle (Craig Grieve), Gilles (Carole Lavoie), Richard (Pauline Smith), Mario (Élizabeth Dezan), Carole (Alan Sager), Hélène, Chantal (Lorne Waid), Jacques; her grandchildren: Kevin Grenier (Emily), Éric Grieve( Guylaine ), Patrick Grieve (Monica), Nathalie Grenier (Nicolas), Richard Jr. Grenier, Jody Grenier (Sarah ), Natasha Grenier (Jamie), Sean Grenier, Vicky Tétreault (Vicky), Lorne Jr. Waid (Samantha), Jason, Dominik Grenier (Joannie), her great grandchildren : Philip, Matthew, Logan, Evan, Thomas, Emma, Lilah, Kaelyn Elizabeth Ann, Xander.

She also leaves her sisters Lucie (Léon Breault) and Anita (Marcel Doyon).  She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Rose-Hélène (late Antonio Fauteux), Julienne (late Eudore Desbiens), Clémence (late Alexandre Guay), Dorotha (Bertrand Prince), Albert (late Marguerite Prince), Sr. Carmélice and Gaston (Gisèle Routhier).  She was a sister-in-law to Ronald (Bernadette), Aliette (Réal), late Julien (late Fernande), Juliette (Fred), late Emery (Yvette), late Raoul (Lisette), Armel (Ruby), Huguette (Ola), late Clément (Danielle). She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at the Cass funeral home, 545, Dufferin, Stanstead, QC, on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 2:00 to 4 :00 p.m. and from 7 :00 to 9 :00 p.m. as well as on Friday April 7, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacré-Cœur Church in Stanstead.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Memphrémagog hospital for the excellent care given to their mother.  Donations to the Memphrémagog hospital Foundation , 50 rue Saint-Patrice Est, Magog, QC, J1X 3X3, would be appreciated by the family.
