DUQUETTE CRONIN, Irene

Passed away at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late George Cronin and loving mother of: Diane (Leo Paul Lagueux), Pauline, Carole (Maurice Gilbert) and Madeleine (Gérald Surprenant); Cherished grandmother of; Daniel, Michèle Lagueux, Maryse and Joanne Distéfano, and Jennifer Young; great grandmother of:Léa, Enya, Antoyne, Cloe, Tommy, Lyana, and Liam. Dear sister of the late Beatrice (the late Jean Paul Garneau), the late Dorothée (the late Henri Blouin), the late Thérèsa (the late Joseph Simonu) and her brother Arvelin Duquette. Irene will also be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Rita (the late Olivier Cronin) Jeanne-D’arc Roy (the late Jean Paul Garneau), along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead, where friends and family may come to visit on Friday, March 22, 2013, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. also on March 23 from 9:00 until 10:40 a.m, followed by the service in Ste. Thérèse de l’Enfant Jésus at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will take place in Mont.Ste.Marie at a later date. As a tribute to her memory, donations made to the Parkinson Society Canada, 4211 Yonge St., Suite 316, Toronto, Ontario, M2P 2A9, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
