EVANS HODGE, Henrietta

Peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital, Sherbrooke, QC on Sunday, March 5th 2006, in her 95th year. Ernestine Evans, beloved wife of the late Herbert Hodge, dear mother of Raymond ( Edythe ), Alethea ( Dave ), Gordon ( Brenda ), Lawrence ( Carol ) and Gwen ( Ted ); she was predeceased by her sons Malcolm ( May ), David and Graydon ( Laurel ); cherished grandmother of 27 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Ernestine was predeceased by her sisters: Annie Dawson and Florence King. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 15 Station St. Sawyerville, QC.: Tel. ( 819 ) 564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca.,on Friday, March 10 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11 at 2:00p.m. in the Sawyerville United Church with the Rev. Barbara Willard officiating assisted by Mr. Justin Lowry. Interment will be held in the Eaton Cemetery in the spring. As memorial tributes, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Quebec, 2630 King St. West, office # 100, Sherbrooke, QC J1J-2H1 or to the Eaton Cemetery, c/o Mrs. Sylvia McComb, 400 Rte.# 253, Eaton Corner, Qc J0B-1M0, will be appreciated by the family.
