DUNN 1932 - 2007, Harold Edward (Sonny)

After a long battle with cancer, fought with courage and dignity, Sonny passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Elsie Picken, and dearly loved children Mike and Sally, Debbie and Ted and Danny. Grandfather of Michael and Steven (Jen) Dunn, and Melissa (Rick), Stefanie and Mark Johnston, who were the light of his life; as well as his three great-grandchildren Tyler, Chantal and Britney Dunn. Dear brother of Isabell (late Wallace), and pre-deceased by his brothers Lawrence and Raymond (late Jean). Also to mourn his loss, his lifelong, dearest friend and brother-in-law John Cunningham, and sister-in-law Fran; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Raymond Fleck (late Myrtle), Margaret Picken (late George), Ethel Walker (late Lawrence), Gordon and Agnes Picken, Bernice and Bob Gillis, Ken and Marg Picken, Gary and Lois Picken, Bev and Don Harrison along with many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, (819) 826-2502 / www.casshomes.ca , where friends may visit on Wednesday June 13th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. A funeral mass will be held at Ste-Bibiane Catholic Church on Thursday June 14th at 11:00 AM with Father Benoit Houde officiating. Interment will be held in the Ste-Bibiane Cemetery. Please note: The family will be at the Church 1 hour prior to the service to receive condolences. Donations to the Oncology Dept., CHUS Fleurimont, 3001 12th ave. N., Sherbrooke, QC J1H 5N4, or the Wales Home Foundation, 506 Rte 243 N., Richmond, QC J0B 2H0 in Sonny’s memory would be appreciated.
