SCHLIEVERT, Gloria Borghilde

In loving memory of Gloria Borghilde Schlievert, who passed away suddenly, at the Rothwell Heights Lodge, Ottawa on Friday, March 6, 2009 at the age of 86. She was born in Haileybury on April 20, 1922 to Garfield & Borghild Schlievert and grew up in Chamberlain Township and Englehart. Ms. Schlievert suffered with a mental illness and had lived in a residential nursing home for years. She was a shy, quiet and lovely woman who loved country music and loved her extended family. Pre-deceased by her parents Garfield & Borghild, brothers Garry & Roland Schlievert. She is survived by nieces & nephew Candace Moreau of Barrie, Mike Schlievert of Deep River, Sharon Okum of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Marsha McCann of Kenora, Nancy Packham of Charlton, Kelly Wood of North Bay, Leeanne Schlievert of North Bay & Carolee Lussier of Ottawa; as well as serveral cousins & great-nieces & great-nephews. There will be no funeral service at this time, a memorial service and interment, both to follow in May. Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left at www.mcdonaldfuneralhome.ca.
