STRONACH SPECK, Glenna

Peacefully at the CHUS Hotel Dieu hospital, Sherbrooke, on Thursday June 19th 2008 in her 79th year. Glenna Alice Stronach, beloved wife and companion of 57 years to Carl W. Speck. Devoted mother of their three beloved children; Randy (Debby McLeod), Dannie (Patti Elvidge) and Linda (David O'Neill). Cherished grandmother of Gregory and Katharine Speck, Sean, Erin, Andrea and Cheryl O'Neill. Loving sister of Shirley (the late Charles Sayers) and her fiance Lionel Statton, Graydon (Simone Gaudreau), Chester (Gloria Knapp), and Lois (Carroll Buzzell). She will be sadly missed by many "SpecK" in-law's, nieces, nephews and some very close friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), 819-564-1750/ www.casshomes.ca , where friends may visit on Sunday June 22nd from 2 to 5 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Lennoxville United Church on Monday June 23rd at 2:00PM, with the Rev. James Potter officiating. Interment in the Malvern cemetery. As memorial tributes, donations may be made to the Massawippi Christian Retirement Homes, 1501 Campbell, Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 0C1, or to the Palliative care unit of the Hotel-Dieu, 580 Bowen S, Sherbrooke, and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
