BOUCHER, Ginette

The sun has set on our fair sunshine. Ginette Boucher passed away peacefully on Thursday June 14, 2018 at The Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 57. Sunshine (Ginette) fought a courageous battle with cancer after being diagnosed 10 months earlier. She will be missed for her energy, her passion, her sense of humour, her tenacity and her spunk. She will be missed by friends and family. Dear daughter of Francine and Henri (predeceased). Beloved wife to be of 30 years to Brian. She leaves as well in sorrow her daughter Josée (Luc), grandmother of Mélodie and Julien. Her siblings Danielle (Jacques), Sylvie and Michel, cousins, aunts and uncles, and nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank the staff of 6 west at the Ottawa General Hospital for their excellent care provided. A special thanks to Dr. Touchie, Dr. Whetter and Dr. Pantarotto for their care and support. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday June 23, 2018 at the St. Louis Marie de Montfort Roman Catholic Church. Family will be receiving guest at 9:30 and will host a gathering after the service in the reception hall. Memory of Ginette, donations to Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
