Peacefully on Good Friday, surrounded by her family, Geraldine Connor, nee Crotty, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She kept her wonderful sense of humour right to the end. Her smile, youthful outlook on life, and sarcastic wit will be so dearly missed by her very many friends who knew and loved her. Predeceased by her husband, Desmond Connor of 38 years. Loving mother of Daniel (Tina Jensen), Kathleen (Jan Anemaet), Alan (Jerusha Young) and Lynn (Darrell MacIsaac). She will be greatly missed by her loving grandchildren Jeremy, Jonathan, Jeda, Paris, Jerusha and Conlan, and very dear friend and companion, John Schinck who has been at her bedside almost every day since she was hospitalized in December. Survived by two brothers Richard Crotty of Lennoxville, QC and Gerald Crotty of Carleton Place, ON and predeceased by her sister Kitty Harvey. She leaves behind, many nieces and nephews. Many knew her from the Sherbrooke Hospital where she worked for 22 years as the medical secretary in the laboratory. As an expression of sympathy, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Special thanks go to Dr. Carl Bromwich, CHUS Palliative Care, for his compassion during these last difficult months. At her request there was no visitation or funeral. Cremation took place on April 7th 2007, entrusted to the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke, QC (Lennoxville)- Tel: (819) 564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca A memorial Service will be held at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Sherbrooke on Saturday, May 5th, 2007 at 2:00p.m.
