MINER, Gerald

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of a wonderful and caring father, Gerald Miner, on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017 at the age of 70.    He was the loving father of  Kim (Denis Duguay), Jamie, Mike (Anie Galipeau); proud grand-father of Nicolas, Eric, Alexia, Luka.  He leaves behind his beloved companion Shirley Carmanico. He was predeceased by his parents Louise and Roger Miner, step-father Rosario Boudreau and sister Aline Nicholson. He will be sorely missed by his sisters: Rita, Diane; his brothers: Brian, Paul and Ronald, the mother of his children Madeleine Constantineau; and his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Gerry was retired after a long career with the Federal Government. We will always have fond memories of  you Dad and will cherish all the good times we had together.  You will remain forever in our hearts.

Family and friends may pay their respects at LA COOPERATIVE FUNERAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cite-des-Jeunes Blvd, in Gatineau (Hull sector), Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 5 pm. to 9 pm and Monday from 9 am to 10 am.  The celebration of his life will be follow at 10 am at the above address.  In memoriam donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Diabetes Association.
