WELSH, George

George Welsh died suddenly at the Englehart and District Hospital on April 7, 2010. He was born in Elk Lake on January 24, 1942, to Reta and Jim Welsh. Mr. Welsh worked as a maintenance supervisor/millwright at Rexwood. He is survived by his wife Evelyne; son Jeff Pacey and daughter Jennifer (husband Trevor Parker); grandchildren Sydney, Sean and Jason; sisters Heather (Archie) Brazeau, Bonny (Steve) Koistinen, Holly (Tom) Woollings, Marlene (Andy) Lance, Donna (Claude) Thibeault and Susan (Dennis) Fiset; brothers Arthur (Brenda) Welsh and Gordon (Cathy) Welsh; many loving nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and in-laws Pat Welsh, Clare Fiset and Don Brazeau. Mr. Welsh was predeceased by his parents Reta and Jim; brothers Bryan, Ross and Joe; sisters Kathy and Mary; and sister-in-law Grace. The funeral was arranged by Perrin Funeral Chapel with the service conducted by Reverend Micol Cottrell at St. Paul's United Church in New Liskeard. Cremation has taken place with interment at Poplar Grove Cemetery to be announced at a later date.
