Johnston, George Nathan Died on June 11th 2007 at the CHLSD Foyer Richmond, at the age of 94. George is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Pike, his sons William and Melvin, and his daughter Pauline. He was predeceased by his daughter Margaret. George also leaves to mourn his grandchildren Marie (Dave), Brenda (Alain), Tanya, David and Andrea. Son of the late William Johnston and the late Violet McCaig. George is survived by his brothers, Robert (the late Rheta) and Ivan (Fran, and the late Gwen), and was predeceased by his sisters Ruth (the late Gerald French) and Miriam (the late Elton Pike), and his brother Ernest (the late Irma). George also leaves to mourn his sister-in-law Sylvia (late Ralph Pike), along with many nieces, nephews, and was predeceased by his sister-in-law Noreen (late Wilbur Wiggins), and brother-in-law Lorne Pike (late Patricia). Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale St. S. Richmond, QC Tel: (819) 826-2502 / www.casshomes.ca, where friends may visit on Thursday, June 14th 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM and on Friday, June 15th from 9 to 10AM, followed by the funeral service at 10:00AM with the Rev. Canon Ron West officiating. Interment in the Melbourne Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
