It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Gaetan Rivard at his home on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Genevieve Lacasse. Dear father of Denyse (Bruce Gray) of Guelph, Raymond ( Claudette) of Timmins, Diane ( Maurice Chartrand) of New Liskeard, Carole Beeney (Patrick) of Georgetown, Nicole (Steve Wilson) of Belleville. Loving grandfather of David and Kevin Gray, Daniel Rivard, Celeste (Shawn) Serre, Ryan Bastien, Katrina, Kayley and Klara Beeney, Miranda, Emily and Leah Wilson. Also his brother Marcel of Mont Laurier, Quebec The family of the late Mr. Rivard will receive friends and family at the Perrin Funeral Chapel 128 whitewood Ave, New Liskeard, ON on Monday February 28, 2011 from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday March 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Liskeard. Father Richard Ngoy officiating. If desired donations to Temiskaming Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated.
