BARTON-SLATER, Fred

Peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital on Thursday, December 23rd 2004 at the age of 87 years. Fred Victor Barton-Slater beloved husband of Marjorie Turner, dear father of Anne ( feu Guy Durocher ) and Peter ( Denis Boismenu ); cherished grandfather of Kim, Perry ( Anne-Marie Galipeau ), Michael, the late Peter ( Lyne Cajolet ), Robert and Michel ( Nadia Cyr ); great-grandfather of : Catherine and Karol-Ann Robidas, Daisy and Jimmy Durocher, Kyven and Samuel Durocher, Brook, Stacey and William Barton-Slater; brother of Lillian Daniels. Resting at the Maison Funéraire des Cantons Funeral Home, 951, Haut- Bois St., Rock Forest, Qc where family and friends may visit on Wednesday, December 29th 2004 from 12 noon to 3pm followed by the funeral at 3pm with the Rev. Canon Ron West officiating. Interment at a later date.As memoriial tributes, donations to the Maison Aube- Lumière, 220 Kennedy St. N., Sherbrooke, Qc J1E-2E7 or to the charity of your choice ,would be greatly appreciated by the family.
