It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Evelyn Chalifoux-Lafontaine on December 8, 2018, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of Roger Lafontaine and daughter of the late Arthur Chalifoux and of the late Régina Picard from Sturgeon Falls, ON. She leaves behind her son Pierre and his spouse Diane Duciaume; her grandchildren : Julie-Ann (Philippe Demers) and Carolyne (Alain Gareau); her great-granchildren : Danika, Gabrielle, Xavier and Félix. She also leaves her sisters-in-law : Pierrette Sabourin, Reina Lafontaine and Aline Lafontaine; her brother-in law Gérald Lafontaine and many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
The celebration of prayers will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Thursday December 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive condolences at 9:30 a.m.
