Peacefully on Monday, August 28th 2006. Betty Logan of Lennoxville, in her 68th year, wife of Stanley Logan. Also left to mourn are her children, Cindy of Marbleton and Craig ( Maryse) of Bebee , her grandchildren, Nicholas ( Josiane ), Samantha and David Breton, Sophie, Matt, Ryan and Sara Logan, her brother James MacKinnon ( Betty ) of Beaconsfield. She also leaves to mourn many cousins, friends and former students. The family wants to say a special thank you to Dr. Marc Bezeau, Dr. Bessette and his team in the oncology departement, Fleurimont and Dr. Doyon and her team at the Palliative Care Unit at the Hotel Dieu and to the CLSC. A special thank you to the nurses, your care and compassion made Betty's last months so much easier. In lieu of flowers, donations to " La Fondation du CHUS Fleuriomont, Oncology Department " or to the " Hot Lunch Progam " at the Lennoxville Elementary School, in her memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke, QC ( formerly 6 Belvidere, Lennoxville ); Tel: (819)564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca, where friends may visit on Wednesday, August 30th 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m, and on Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 31st at 11a.m. in St. Georges Anglican Church, Sherbrooke ( Lennoxville ) with the Rev. Canon Ron West officiating. Interment in the Malvern Cemetery.
